Raimonda Bedo is an expert in Transnational Cooperation, EU policies, EU Institutions, Cross Border Cooperation, Local Community development with multidisciplinary approach, Strategies of international cooperation and development, territorial analysis, programming, planning, monitoring and evaluation
She has gained an extensive experience through participation in over 20 projects financed by the European Community Funds under the Cross-Border Program Italy – Albania and IPA funds under the CBC program Greece-Albania.
Her main duties consisted of support provided to the Albanian partners for the implementation of project activities, support with the management, coordination, and control and monitoring as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, trainings, B2B and PA2PA.
From 2002-2006 she worked at the Management Authority of the INTERREG III Italy-Albania 2000-2006.
She has graduated from Tirana University, Faculty Economy and Finance in 1985 and has gained an extended experience in financial management and auditing of public funds.
She has attended several training sessions such as that of the Personnel for Regional Trans National Activity at CIHEAM-IAM Bari, in the framework of INTERREG II ITALY-ALBANIA 1994/99-MEASURE 5.7 (2000 – 2001), training on Central – Local Governance held in the frame project “NeBaMe”- Network of official of Central and Local Administration of Balkan and Mediterranean – CIRPS (Interuniversity research Centre for sustainable developing) Roma.
She has participated in several internships at the European Commission, Brussels on issues of Community policies, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Rome, on issues of cross-border partnership, at NATO headquarters in Rome, on issues of security in Europe.
